I think if i change my behavior mom and dad would let go back to Michigan with them and they might think that i want to go back. They might also think that i am really going to miss them when they are gone. I don't think it will work because dad know that i can not change. I wouldn't be mad if they stayed with me. I don't want to stay with no stupid A** lady. She cant barley do Sh**. I don't know why grand ma sands chose to stay here.

September 15, 1963

When I was in Birmingham i was bored. I had no one to talk to or play with. When I was in Birmingham it felt like i was in Jupiter cause it was really hot. Birmingham looks like a stupid place. All these squares look like they had nothing to do. I don't even know why they call it Birmingham. They should call it Boringham because you can't do anything. It seem like a dump in this stupid place. I rather be in Michigan even doe it is cold. I wish i wasn't bad so we wouldn't have to this stupid A** place.

This place also looked like it was all about business. It also looked like you couldn't have fun either. My one question is where in this stupid place called Birmingham can we have fun in. I just felt like kicking some A** cause there was nothing do. This is all my fault. They should have send my dump A** to military school instead of this place.

#62 My book is called precious it is about a girl lives with her mother and her mother does not treat her nice. Precious goes to school and she can not read. She is 16 and already had a child with her birth father cause her father ra*** her. Her mother does not like her because she think her daughter took her man. Then she changed her school and went to a new school called Each One - Teach One. Then she became better at reading and writing. When her mom didn't give her money she would go the store and still some chicken when the workers are not looking. Then she had a second child from her father. She was HIV positive. She had where to go so she slept at her teacher house.
